Giancarlo Laurenti presents an interesting collection of river driftwood, worked, assembled and transformed into fantastic creatures.

Laurenti's sculpture is a search for the idea, which is then turned into a form in which the essence of the material used, assembled and worked, is sublimated.

Closeness to Nature lies not only in the search for and choice of materials: it is the unifying theme of the whole work.

The exhibition, also because of its choice of subjects, therefore finds a perfect setting in the rooms of the Carmagnola Natural History Museum, where it blends with the rich zoological collections and gives visitors further stimulus for the imagination.
