Gianfranco Curletti is the entomologist of the Museum.  His main field of interest is entomology and especially the Coleoptera Buprestidae. He is one of the foremost Agrilus specialist of the world, with hundred of species described. After the Buprestidae of Italy, he contributed to the study of the genus Agrilus in Africa, Australia and South America with important pubblications. He partecipated to some research expeditions in Gabon, Madagascar and Panama with the Radeau des Cimes and IBISCA projects.
